.Fistula in ano is a track lined by
granulation tissue which connects peri anal skin superficially to anal canal ,
ano rectum or rectum deeply. The main clinical symptoms consists of pain, swelling
and pus discharge. Due to higher recurrence rate and post operative

Fistula in ano. Uthamadi yoga is mentioned in Bhagandara prathishedha adhyayam in Ashtanga hrdaya and it contains thriphala, khadira, asana and guggulu .
The objective of the present study is to evaluate the antimicrobial

during ksharasuthra therapy in
Bhagandara. 30 participants will be
selected according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria and they will be divided into two groups of 15
participants each. Group A will be treated with Guggulupanchapala choorna
